Colombian Coffee Beans
Happy Bean Coffee’s roaster is a third generation Roastmaster and his expertise at selecting and roasting your Columbian coffee is what sets our coffee apart from the competition’s.
Colombian coffee is rich in flavor, heavy bodied, brightly acidic, with an intense aroma. Yet, each growing region in Colombia imparts its own distinct characteristics. To the north, are the deeper, earthier coffee characters of the Bucaramanga and Antioquia regions and from the southern region that includes Cauca, Narino, and Huila, come the brighter and fruity tastes.
Happy Bean’s Colombian coffee is sourced from small farms in the mountainous, north eastern Bucaramanga region. This tends to make them a somewhat milder bean, with a medium body, low acidity, and a rich winey character similar to those of Sumatran coffees. Combine the fine qualities of the Colombian coffe bean with Happy Beans’ micro roasted Full City (second crack) roast profile, and you get a wonderful cup of coffee with a hint of chocolate in its body and that’s a bit spicy and sweet.
Remember too, that when you order from Happy BeanĀ Gourmet Coffee, your beans are sealed in valved bags to allow for de-gassing and are in your hands with three to four days of roasting! It’s hard to get any fresher than that unless you go to the roaster directly.
Order a bag today and taste what a difference when you make your coffee with our fresh-roasted Colombian coffee beans.
